Bianca Rojas-LaTraverse is Jonathan Duhamel's ex girlfriend charged in connection with a home invasion robbery on his house

A total of three suspects have been arrested in connection with the home invasion of Canadian WSOP champ Jonathan Duhamel earlier this month. One of the suspects isĀ Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, an ex-girlfriend of Duhamel, who parted ways on less thanĀ amicable terms five months ago.

When asked by police about their relationship, Duhamel stated that he felt revenge could be the motivation considering the violent nature of the crime.

“(Dating her) wasn’t the best of my decisions,” he said. “Maybe it was about more than a robbery. Maybe vengeance was involved. Maybe she wanted to hurt me.”

We have learned more details about how they gained entry to Duhamel’s home. Apparently the robbers disguised themselves as couriers delivering gifts in the holiday season.

“I was waiting for packages that day,” he said. “They were gifts for my family.”

After Jonathan Duhamel opened the door they forced their way inside, brutally beating him and threatening to cut his fingers off if he did not give up his valuables. They even went as far as threatening to kill him and his family. When asked about his injuries Duhamel said “I am happy to be alive”.

Twenty year old Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, John Stephan Clark-Lemay (22), and Andre Robert Perron (26), have been arrested and charged with crimes including Battery, Conspiracy, and Forcible Confinement in connection with the home invasion. The only stolen item that has been recovered so far is the Rolex watch. Police were tipped off when Perron was seen wearing the flashy watch around town.

Rumor has it that John Stephan Clark-Lemay is the current boyfriend of Bianca Rojas Latraverse, as they were seen leaving the courthouse together. All suspects are currently released on bail and are awaiting court hearing scheduled for January.
