US Government Seizes domains for PokerStars, Full Tilt, UB

The US Government has seized the domain names for PokerStars, Full Tilt, UB, and Absolute poker for “conducting, financing, managing, supervising, directing, or owning all or part of an illegal gambling operation…”. Many of the poker sites owners have been arrested including the CEO of Full Tilt Poker, Raymond Bitar.

*As of now, this does not effect Canadians. Players from Canada are still able to play online poker for real money at these sites. Please see our list of online poker sites that accept Canadians here.

When trying to visit the domain PokerStars.com, FullTiltPoker.com, UB.com, or AbsolutePoker.com you will be greeted with this message from the United States Federal Government.
