Canadians Win 3 Bracelets So Far at 2012 WSOP

Canadians have already made a strong showing at the 2012 WSOP winning three gold bracelets and planting our flag out in Vegas! Canadians have won more than 2 Million so far, lets see how much cash we can bring up north of the border!

Simon Charette aka “pokerbrat13”, is one of the most promising tournament players coming out of Canada after four WSOP cashes last year. He did not disappoint at the 2012 WSOP winning Event #23 $3,000 NLH 6 Handed, winning $567,624 and his first gold bracelet in the process.

Timothy Adams, from Burlington, Ontario, won Event #28 $2500 NLH 4-max and took home just under $400, 000! It is already the second cash on the WSOP for Timothy Adams at the WSOP this year and he is still looking for more bracelets.

Ashkan Ravazi won $781,398 when he defeated a large field in Event #9 $1500 NLH (re-entry). Ravazi is from new Westminster, BC, and he had many supporters that made the trip with him and they could be seen wearing t-shirts that said “Ash Can Do It”.
