The poker scene in Ontario is gravitating toward the Fallsview Casino Resort for the 2014 Fallsview Poker Classic. The $1100 event has wrapped up and the winner was Canadian pro Mike Leah. Check out the rest of the final table and see a list of all players who made the money.
Congratulations to Canadian poker pro Mike Leah from Innisfil, Ontario who followed up a strong showing at the 2013 WSOP 2013 with this first place finish that netted him just under $119K. Leah is known on twitter as “@GoLeafsGoEh” and has been seen wearing a Buffalo Bills shirt at tournaments.
It is interesting to note that only two Americans made the final table and out of a total of 74 paid spots there were only 4 Americans in the money! It is good to see homegrown Canadian poker players dominating these tournaments and keeping that prize money north of the border.
